1901 Canadian Census Street Finder Tool (Toronto Area)

| This tool will help you find where on the 1901 Canadian census you can find a specific address for places within the City of Toronto. |
| The address MUST have existed in 1901. Remember that the northern boundry for most of the City in 1901 was BLOOR STREET. |

| HOUSE NUMBER: Enter whole numbers only (e.g. 36½ should be entered as "36". Ignore "Rear", "Apartment" and other such designations. If you do not enter a house number, all addresses for the particular street will be shown. |

|
| STREET NAME: Enter the street name only. DO NOT include the word "Street", "Road", etc. For example, enter Sherbourne Street as "Sherbourne". Entering "King*" would return entries for both "Kingston Road" and "King St". |

| SAINT: If you have a street which begins with "Saint", you should enter it as "St." For example, St Vincent should be entered as "St. Vincent". |

| Town/Township: Most of these records are for the City of Toronto as it existed in 1901. However, many more addresses from surounding area are being added all the time. As a result you may refine your search by Town/Township. If you do NOT include a Street name you can see all addresses for THAT town/township. Select ALL to ignore the town filter. |
