This tool will help you find where on the 1901 Canadian census you can find a specific address for places within the City of Toronto.
The address MUST have existed in 1901. Remember that the northern boundry for most of the City in 1901 was BLOOR STREET.

HOUSE NUMBER: Enter whole numbers only (e.g. 36½ should be entered as "36".  Ignore "Rear", "Apartment" and other such designations. If you do not enter a house number, all addresses for the particular street will be shown.

STREET NAME: Enter the street name only. DO NOT include the word "Street", "Road", etc.  For example, enter Sherbourne Street as "Sherbourne". Entering "King*" would return entries for both "Kingston Road" and "King St".

SAINT: If you have a street which begins with "Saint", you should enter it as "St." For example, St Vincent should be entered as "St. Vincent".

Town/Township:  Most of these records are for the City of Toronto as it existed in 1901.  However, many more addresses from surounding area are being added all the time. As a result you may refine your search by Town/Township. If you do NOT include a Street name you can see all addresses for THAT town/township. Select ALL to ignore the town filter.
